Collection of two comedies. In 'No Strings Attached' (2011), when
long-time friends Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher)
decide to add a physical dimension to their relationship and move
into 'friends with benefits' territory, they agree to keep things
strictly casual and on a 'no strings' basis. But before long both
of them find things becoming more complicated than planned as those
pesky emotions get in the way. In 'Morning Glory' (2010), a sparky,
ambitious young television producer spies an opportunity to claw
her way up the career ladder when she is offered a job on
'Daybreak', the worst-performing morning chat show in the ratings.
Her decision to hire veteran newscaster Mike Pomeroy (Harrison
Ford) to host the show meets with scepticism from network executive
Jerry (Jeff Goldblum) and co-host Colleen Peck (Diane Keaton), and
with little enthusiasm from Pomeroy himself, who is obliged by his
contract to take this less-than-promising gig. Can Becky overcome
the poor ratings and in-fighting to bring the team together and
transform the show into something to be proud of?

A gripping history of China's deteriorating relationship with Hong
Kong, and its implications for the rest of the world. For the 150
years that Hong Kong was a British colony, people, money and
technology flowed freely, while Hong Kong residents enjoyed
freedoms that simply did not exist in mainland China. When the
territory was handed over to China in 1997, the Communist Party
promised that Hong Kong would remain highly autonomous for fifty
years. Now, at the halfway mark, it is clear that China has not
kept its word. Universal suffrage and free elections have not been
instituted and activists have been jailed en masse following the
decree of a sweeping national security law by Beijing. As China
continues to expand its global influence, Hong Kong serves as a
chilling preview of how dissenters could be treated in regions that
fall under the emerging superpower's control. A Hong Kong resident
from 1992 to 2021, Mark L. Clifford has witnessed this
transformation first-hand and has unrivalled access to the full
range of the city's society, from student protestors to billionaire
businessmen and senior government officials. A powerful and
dramatic mix of history and on-the-ground reporting, Today Hong
Kong, Tomorrow the World is the definitive account of one of the
most important geopolitical standoffs of our time.

entry.
Introducing Feminist Theology responds to the questions "What is
feminist theology?" and "Why is it important?" by considering the
perspectives of women from around the globe who have very diverse
life experience and relationships to God, Church and creation.
Clifford introduces the major forms of feminist theology: "radical,
" "reformist, " and "reconstructionist, " and highlights some of
their specific characteristics.

This sequel to The Interpretation of Cultures is a collection of
essays which reject large abstractions, going beyond the mere
translation of one culture into another, and looks at the
underlying, compartmentalized reality.
This is a collection of essays which attempt to push forward a
particular view of what culture is, what role it plays in social
life and how it ought to be properly studied. What emerges is this
book - a treatise in cultural theory developed through a series of
concrete analyses.
